STANDARD INTEGRATION

A new integration, built by PayStar

Need a payment provider that does not yet have a ready adapter? PayStar builds the integration for the agreed operations and connects it to our infrastructure. You choose the solution your business needs; we handle the technical work.

YOUR PRIORITIES

Add the methods you need with a clear delivery plan

01

Connect your chosen provider

You have found a suitable PSP, but it is missing from your payment setup. We agree the required operations and build an adapter to support them through PayStar.

02

Keep your team focused

Your developers do not need to learn another provider API and build a separate adapter. The PayStar team handles that development.

03

Know the budget before work starts

A standard integration costs €750. We define its scope before starting; additional requirements and their cost are agreed separately if they fall outside that scope.

04

Plan your launch

Allow around 10 business days. We review documentation and access, agree a start date and identify PSP dependencies so the timeline becomes a practical delivery plan.

05

Test beyond the first payment

The test plan defines the agreed scenarios: creating an operation, obtaining its status, handling notifications and errors. Collections and payouts are scoped separately.

06

Keep using a familiar API

The new adapter brings the provider's supported operations behind the PayStar interface. We identify any PSP-specific behaviour your product and operations team need to handle.

SCOPE & RESPONSIBILITIES

From documentation to an agreed launch

The deliverable is an adapter for the chosen provider and agreed operations, tested against the planned scenarios. If the method is already integrated, we first consider connecting it through Direct Connect: a new adapter may not be necessary.

Your team

Chooses the PSP and contracts with it directly. Defines methods, currencies and operations, provides documentation and arranges access to the required environments.

PayStar

Builds the adapter, performs agreed technical checks and prepares the connection within its infrastructure. Maintenance terms depend on the product you choose.

The provider

Supplies a working API, access and answers about its side of the integration. Merchant approval, payment processing and settlement remain its responsibility.

You select and contract with PSPs directly. PayStar provides the agreed technical services; PSPs process payments and settle funds under their own agreements.

GETTING STARTED

Four steps to your next integration

01

Review the starting point

Share the documentation, required operations and target launch date. We check for an existing adapter and clarify the requirements for new development.

02

Agree scope and start

Define readiness criteria, access, test scenarios, price and the plan. The 10-business-day estimate is tied to confirmed readiness on each side.

03

Build and test

Implement the agreed operations and test communication with the PSP. If documentation gaps or API changes emerge, we agree their impact on the plan.

04

Prepare the live launch

Check configuration and results against the agreed criteria, then define the launch process and ongoing adapter maintenance.

Three ways to build a new adapter

Connecting an existing method and developing a new adapter are different tasks.

Questions before you decide

Start with the result you need. Agree the details before committing to the work.

What does €750 include?

Standard development of one adapter within an agreed scope. Operations and test scenarios are defined before work starts. PSP fees, PayStar product subscriptions and additional work are not automatically included in this price.

Is 10 business days a guaranteed launch date?

It is an estimate for standard development. The actual plan depends on complete documentation, access, PSP responses and the agreed scope. We confirm the start date and completion criteria before work begins.

What if we need to launch sooner?

Consider Fast-track: first agreed live payments within 24 hours of a confirmed start. Capacity is reserved separately, with a maximum of four accelerated integrations per month; readiness and scope are agreed in advance.

Can our developer build the adapter?

Yes, Self-integration is available for APM adapters. Your specialist builds at your pace, while PayStar provides the agreed infrastructure and can help you find and prepare the specialist.
